Resignation
Dear [Manager’s Name],
I regret to inform you that I have decided to resign from my position at [Company Name]. Don’t worry, it’s not you, it’s definitely me.
I’ve come to the realization that my dreams of becoming a professional nap-taker and Netflix binger are just not going to happen here. While I’ve enjoyed my time at the company, I feel that my true calling lies in the world of leisure and laziness.
I must also confess that I’ve been stealing office supplies and hoarding them in my desk drawer for months. So, if anyone asks where all the Post-It notes went, you can blame me.
In all seriousness, I want to thank you for the opportunity to work here. It’s been a wild ride, filled with memorable moments like the time the printer caught on fire and the time we all had to do the Macarena for team-building.
Please let me know what the next steps are in terms of my departure. Should I pack up my desk now, or can I take a victory lap around the office first?
Sincerely, [Your Name]
